ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT

Upper (Bridge) Deck:

Foremost the wheelhouse with curved front, and raked windows, inside a full-width steering console with lockers beneath, main remote control helm and navionics at center, wing stations outboard with adjacent doors to bridge deck, electrical, alarm, and system control panels along aft bulkhead. Aft on deck is an aluminum master and mate crew cabin structure, each cabin with a single berth, locker, sink in vanity, and sharing a central head with marine toilet and shower. Aft is a separate steel structure with a utility room to Starboard, containing a washer and dryer, electrical panels, the vessels public address components, ventilation ducting, CO2 cylinders, and some stowage. Inboard is a door opening to an interior stairway to the Promenade deck, to Port a public rest room, outboard to Port an emergency generator room with access doors forward and Port sides; inside the generator unit, electrical distribution panels and transformer, battery chargers and fuel tank. Flanking this structure on deck the vessel’s life rafts, aft a stainless battery locker, a narrow bridge deck with railing, and a ladder down to the Promenade deck.

Promenade Deck:

Foremost a solid 50” steel bulwark, aft a superstructure with eight two-passenger staterooms, each having a head with toilet, sink in vanity, and shower, entry doors outboard, one 3-passenger cabin with head and outboard entry aft to Starboard, the Chief Engineer’s cabin aft to Port with head and outboard entry, aft a vestibule with entry doors outboard and interior stairways to decks above and below. There are four suites, two port and two starboard aft of the vestibule.  Aft of the suites is an open deck surrounded by railings, with a raised transverse ventilation structure and a stairway to the Lounge Deck below.

Fore / Lounge Deck:

Foremost the foredeck enclosed by a steel bulwark forward, with mooring bitts, ventilation ports with shutters, mooring cleats and single rode anchor windlass, aft a 2 ½ X 5’ raised watertight escape hatch from the main deck, aft a safety rope on stanchions, aft a Teak-surfaced viewing deck that wraps around full-height forward lounge windows. The full-width lounge is entered from this deck by way of outboard doors, with open seating Port side, a side bar and bookshelves aft, and open seating forward of an L-shaped raised bar aft to Starboard. The bar is equipped with dishwasher, three sinks, a beverage cooler, ice maker, trash compactor, and sound system. Aft, through a double fire door is a passageway with interior stairs to the Promenade deck to Port and to the main deck Starboard, aft a vestibule with a public restroom to Port, outboard fire doors Port and Starboard, outboard three-passenger cabins with in suite heads and entry doors aft, and further outboard are large watertight boarding doors. Aft, through double fire doors is a passageway flanked by ten 3-passenger and two 2-passenger staterooms, each with a head, aft is a vestibule with doors opening outboard to a small aft deck that wraps around an additional four 2-passenger cabins with in-suite heads and entry doors outboard. Aft is an exterior stairway down to the aft Main deck and up to the Promenade deck.

Main Deck:

Foremost a forward void with separate chain lockers, aft through a watertight door a void in storage, with an escape ladder through a watertight hatch to the foredeck. Aft, via a fire door to a central companionway are a linen room to Port, a medicinal ‘salt’ room to Starboard, aft are ten opposing 2-passenger staterooms with in-suite heads and doors opening to the center, then aft to Port a public rest room and a fiddley with stairs to the engine room and to the forward cargo deck, to Starboard a hotel manager stateroom outboard of a stairway up to the Lounge deck. Aft is a vestibule with double fire doors Port and Starboard, opening to the fiddley Port side and to the hotel manager’s room to Starboard, outboard each side is a large watertight boarding door. Double fire doors open aft to the dining room, aft of which, through two single doors to Port is an interior stairway to the aft galley stores and tank room, further aft the scullery with multiple basins, counters, and a commercial dishwasher, aft is a walk-in cooler. To Starboard the galley with walk-in freezer, aft the cook stove counters, steam table, ovens, etc., aft a food preparation area with under counter refrigerators. Aft through a half-height watertight door is the aft deck, which carries the stern anchor windlass, a trash locker, water and fuel fills with required dams, and a stairway up to the Lounge deck.

Lower Deck:

Foremost a forepeak void with collision bulkhead, aft the bow thruster compartment with a platform with escape ladder and watertight hatch to the former laundry void above. Aft are open spaces Port and Starboard, aft a watertight door opening to a companionway. Here, Port and Starboard are former potable water tanks, not presently in use, aft to Port a storage area with the freshwater sprinkler tank and to Starboard a pump room, aft through a watertight door Port and Starboard are four opposing crew cabins, each with four berths and lockers, aft Port and Starboard are male and female lavatories, each with two sinks, two toilets, and two showers, aft to, Port a smaller crew cabin outboard of an internal stairway to the main deck and to Starboard another 4-person crew cabin. Aft through a watertight door, to Port is a second interior stairway to the main deck and the sewage treatment plant, to Starboard the air handling refrigeration room, aft through a fire door are four opposing storage areas, presently not in use, aft are double bottom fuel tanks, and aft is a watertight forward engine room entry door. The engine room has the fuel system manifold to Port, batteries, hot water heater and electrical panels to Starboard, three auxiliary generators arranged athwartships, next aft the two main engines flanking fire and bilge pumps, aft to Port electrical transformers and to Starboard the air compressors and receivers. Aft is a watertight door that has been welded shut. Further aft are storage areas Port and Starboard, accessible from the galley by way of an internal stair Port side, aft is a small void, aft a watertight bulkhead and aft the integral double bottom water tanks. Aft is the lazarette, with the steering apparatus, gaseous fire suppression tanks, refrigeration systems for the galley, centered at the stern the aft chain locker flanked by stowage racks. Access is by way of a sealed flush hatch in the aft deck and a small watertight hatch in the sole of the galley.

REMARKS

The CHICHAGOF DREAM is in good condition. The Vessel operated the 2025 season. She was remodeled in 2016 with introduced to the fleet. There have been targeted updates since including the addition of four new statements in 2019.
