Plumbing System

  • Valve hand wheels and actuators are color coated and piping is labeled with arrows denoting flow direction

  • Fire and wash-down pump system to include a 2” x 1 ½” electrically driven self priming pump with a minimum capacity of 50 gpm @ 60 psi engaged at the pilothouse and engine room
  • Bilge (auxiliary fire) pump system to include a 2” x 1 ½” belt driven via a clutch self priming pump (24 VDC) with a minimum capacity of 50 gpm @ 60 psi engaged at the pilothouse and engine room
  • 5 gpm manual water pump with hose and appropriate fittings
  • ¾” potable water pump (12 VDC) with accumulator tank
  • 3,000 gallon potable water tank with clean-out access with a ½” fill

Coating System

  • The hull and deckhouse will be abrasive blasted to aid in the coating adhesion to the metal surfaces
  • Valspar urethane coatings applied per the manufacturers specifications
  • Polyurethane non-skid coating applied to the weather decks
  • Draft marks, name and port of registry marked on the vessel per regulatory agency
  • Aluminum or Zinc anodes depending upon the water salinity of the service area

Safety Equipment

  • 615 adult size type III and 42 child size type III personal floatation devices (PFD’s) with the ship’s name labeled
  • Three 22” life rings with the ship’s name labeled with life lines and one self activating light
